The 42nd edition of IIJS Bharat Premiere 2026 has opened in Mumbai amid a favourable trade environment for India’s gem and jewellery industry. New free trade agreements with the UAE, Australia, Oman and the United Kingdom, alongside upcoming agreements with the European Union and New Zealand, are expected to expand global market access for Indian exporters. Recognised as the world’s second-largest gem and jewellery B2B exhibition, the event spans more than 135,000 square metres across two venues, featuring over 2,100 exhibitors and 3,600 stalls. More than 50,000 visitors, including over 2,700 international buyers from 80 countries, are expected to attend.
