The UAE’s non-oil foreign trade reached a record Dhs1.937 trillion ($527.4 billion) in the first half of 2026, marking a 13.1% year-on-year increase, driven by strong non-oil exports and expanding trade with key global partners. Non-oil exports surged 23.9% to a record Dhs452.8 billion, representing 23.4% of total non-oil foreign trade, up from 21.3% a year earlier. Trade volumes also rose significantly compared with previous years, increasing 39.6% over H1 2024, 54.5% over H1 2023, and 78.8% over H1 2022, while more than doubling the levels recorded during the same period in 2019 and 2021.
