First India International Jewellery Week

The first India International Jewellery Week was held in Mumbai at the Grand Hyatt from 15th - 19th Aug 2010. The event organized by the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council presented to the international and domestic buyers the immense talent of the Indian designers in the Jewellery industry. The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council the apex body of the Gem and Jewellery trade in the country is supported by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Government of India.
