UAE attracts global retailers as ranking high by 54.5%

Abu Dhabi among the top 4 global destinations for retailers last year; Dubai keeps consolidating its hold, according to CBRE report. Abu Dhabi pulled in 42 new retailers during the year. Helping Abu Dhabi’s flag to fly high was the interest generated by premium retail clusters such as The Galleria and the World Trade Centre Mall. Dubai, meantime has retained the second ranking status among the ‘most penetrated’ cities for international retailers. Together, Dubai and Abu Dhabi made quite sure that the UAE was comfortably placed in the second spot as the go-to market for retailers. The country had a 54.5 per cent penetration rate of global retailers being present in the marketplace.
