According to Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi), hotel revenues increased by 16 percent to nearly Dh3 billion for Abu Dhabi hotels in the January to July period this year over the same period in 2012. The tourism authority said in a statement that the revenue boost came on the back of guest arrivals in Abu Dhabi hotels increasing by 10 percent in the first seven months of the year compared to the same period last year. Guest arrivals in the capital’s hotels topped 1.5 million in the seven-month period, according to TCA Abu Dhabi estimates.
