de Grisogono’s necklace worth €2 million was stolen at the Cannes Film Festival. According to the jeweller, the piece went missing after its annual festival party held at the Eden Roc Hotel last Tuesday, despite over 80 security guards and local police being in attendance. "These incidents are rare; it is actually the first time it has happened in our 20-year history," said founder and creative designer Fawaz Gruosi. "However, when they occur one must be proactive and collaborate with the authorities". The theft marks the second high-profile jewellery robbery at this year's film festival. Over €1 million (£650,000) worth of Chopard jewellery was stolen from the Novotel hotel last week
