His Excellency Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabor Al Thani, Prime Minister of Qatar and Minister of Foreign Affairs, will inaugurate the 10th Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition (DJ&WE) today, February 25, 2013. The six-day international exhibition, organised by Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA), will run till March 3, showcasing some of the world's finest and most exclusive collections of jewellery and watches. This year's event features over 500 international and regional brands of premium jewellery and luxury watches. In addition to an impressive list of regular exhibitors, the 10th edition is hosting, for the first time, many new participants representing some of the world's leading names in the industry. The Doha Jewellery & Watches Exhibition 2013 will cover nearly 15,000 square metres area at the Doha Exhibitions Center, one of the finest and most modern exhibition venues in the world. The centre hosts over 30 major exhibitions annually. Qatari exhibitors participating in the six-day event include Ali Bin Ali Watches & Jewellery, Fifty One East, Amiri Gems, Al Fardan Jewellery, Blue Salon, Al Majed Jewellery, Al Muftah Jewellery, Makki Jewellery, Marzooq Al Shamlan, Paris Gallery, and Al-Zain, among many others. The show will feature top jewellery and watch brands of the world such as Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Audemars Piguet, Patek Philippe, Jaeger-LeCoultre Richard Mille, MontBlanc, Chopard, Graff, Vacheron Constantin, Damiani, Ladoire, Palmiero, Jacob & Co, Concord, Franc Vila, Century, Ebel, Giovanni Ferraris... the list covers almost every premium brand that has fascinated the elite the world over.
