Entries invited for 2nd Edition of Cartier Women’s Initiative

The House of Cartier invited applications for the 2nd Edition of the Cartier Women’s Initiative. Across the world, an increasing number of women are turning entrepreneurial, creating jobs and new market opportunities. To nurture and encourage the spirit of enterprise exhibited by women entrepreneurs, Cartier and Women’s Forum (created by Aude de Thuin in 2005), have joined forces to launch the Cartier Women’s Initiative.

15 regional finalists, the top three from each region (Africa / Asia-Pacific / Europe / Latin America & North America) will be short-listed on the basis of short business plan. the best business plan of each region, 5 in total, will receive the  Cartier Women’s Initiative Award where a commemorative trophy will be presented in addition to a funding to a tune of USD $ 20,000 to fund the project. The deadline for receipt of the entries is 15 February 2007.
