The 1816 TOURBILLON CHRONOGRAPH draws inspiration from the world’s first chronograph, created by Louis Moinet in 1816. Designed for precise astronomical observation, his Compteur de Tierces introduced a remarkably modern layout focused on clarity and legibility. More than two centuries later, this legacy continues to shape Les Ateliers Louis Moinet’s creations. The new timepiece reflects these historic design codes while expressing a distinctly contemporary aesthetic. Celebrating the 210th anniversary of this groundbreaking invention, the watch is released in a strictly limited edition of twelve pieces, making it a rare collector’s item crafted for a select circle of enthusiasts.
