At IIJS Bharat Signature 2026, GJEPC launched JewelStart, India’s first dedicated innovation and incubation platform for the gem and jewellery industry. The initiative provides structured support for startups and MSMEs, transforming ideas into scalable, market-ready enterprises while embedding technology-driven problem solving into the sector. Designed as an industry-led platform, JewelStart fosters collaboration between businesses, academia, investors, and government bodies, addressing the specific needs of the gem and jewellery value chain. Strategic MoUs were also signed to strengthen the ecosystem. With JewelStart, GJEPC reinforces India’s vision as the “Jeweller to the World”, driving innovation and entrepreneurship across the industry.
