The Dubai Data and Statistics Establishment is recalibrating GDP time series and key indicators to meet international standards, using expanded data sources for a more precise view of the emirate’s economy. Dubai maintained strong growth in the first half of 2025, surpassing expectations and cementing its status as a competitive, dynamic global city. GDP grew 4.4 per cent to Dhs241?bn in H1, with the second quarter alone rising 4.7 per cent to Dhs122?bn. This growth was driven by robust expansion across multiple sectors, highlighting Dubai’s diversified economic base and long-term resilience.
