The Louis Moinet 1806 pays tribute to the origins of Swiss chronometric excellence and the pioneering spirit of Louis Moinet. Certified as an observatory chronometer by the Geneva Astronomical Observatory, each movement undergoes fifteen days of rigorous testing across various positions and temperatures to ensure precision and reliability. Inspired by the world’s first chronograph, the 1806 features a refined Directoire-style case in polished and satin-finished grade 5 titanium. Its fleur-de-lys crown honors Bourges, Moinet’s birthplace, while the dial blends classic watchmaking aesthetics with modern design, proudly bearing the historic Louis Moinet typography and Chronomètre d’Observatoire inscription.
