The Thai Gems & Jewellery Traders Association (TGJTA), hosts and organizers of the long-running Bangkok Gems & Jewellery Fair (BGJF), the industrys showpiece and centrepiece of the Kingdoms exhibition calendar, are going the extra mile to ensure that the upcoming 44th Edition will become the biggest to date. 950 professional overseas visitors, in addition to several other individual national & official delegations organized by the Kingdoms Department of Export Promotion (DEP), have already confirmed their participation of the 44th BGJF to be held at the cavernous Impact Challenger Exhibition Centre from 15 to 19 September 2009. According to Khun Somchai Phornchindarak, CEO, TGJTA, is hopeful that the expected tax incentive by the Thai Government will boost attendance at the show in addition to attracting new investment in the Kingdom. Online Sourcing Project (OSP), the business matching initiative, is also expected to boost the interaction between buyers and potential suppliers. For the first time, the show will also have a special custom-built fine diamond pavilion.
