Dubai Culture and Bulgari announces jury members for Bulgari Contemporary Art Award

Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) and Bulgari announced the jury members for the first edition of the Bulgari Contemporary Art Award, who will be evaluating the works submitted by the artists shortlisted by Dubai Culture. The winning artist will be announced in February 2022. The jury comprising eight pioneering individuals in the realms of culture, arts and design: Davide Rampello, university professor, cultural advisor and curator of the Italian Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai; Carolyn Christov-Bakargiev, Italian-American author and Director of Castello di Rivoli Contemporary Art Museum in Turin; Hou Hanru, Artistic Director at MAXXI (National Museum for 21st Century Arts, Rome, Italy); and creative Emirati artist Mattar bin Lahej. The committee also includes Hala Badri, Director General of Dubai Culture; Jean Christophe Babin, CEO of Bulgari Group; Lucia Boscaini, Brand Curator at Bulgari; and Beatrice Bulgari, Italian film producer and President of Fondazione In Between Art Film.
