Dubai Duty Free posts sales up by 11 percent in H1

Dubai Duty Free has recently posted an 11 percent increase in sales resulting in USD772 million revenue for the first six months of the year. Perfumes and gold were among the top category positions with perfumes in particular showing strong growth with a sales increase of 16 percent to USD114.32 million. The retailer saw spending across all its three terminals business continued to increase. Sales in Terminal 2 grew 18 percent, followed by 11 percent in Terminal 1 sales and 10 percent increase in Terminal 3 sales.
