New US First Lady Michelle Obama sparkles in diamonds for husband’s inauguration

News agencies are reporting that the newly cast First Lady Michelle Obama, glittered in diamonds for the many celebratory events as a spin-off to the historic inauguration of her husband Barack Obama as the country’s 44^th and first Afro-American President of the Unites States of America on 20 January 2009.

According to the Diamond Information Centre (DIC), the First Lady wore a full-length ivory gown accessorized by Beverly Hills, California-based luxury designer Loree Rodkin diamond linear earrings, diamond ring and diamond bangle bracelets. She is also known to have worn the designer’s ‘The Triple Constellation’ and other jewellery lines on previous occasions.
