Hublot’s Big Bang Foudroyante Senna, with the motor-racing champion’s signature was recently launched in Japan. Hublot CEO Jean-Claude Biver presented the watch to the assembled media in the presence of Bruno Senna, nephew of the late Formula 1 Brazilian driver and Brand ambassador Ayrton Senna. Part of the sales proceeds will be donated to Instituto Ayrton Senna.

The Big Bang Foudroyante Senna is a numbered 500-piece numbered limited series that sports the colours of Brazil like the first edition—yellow and green split-seconds hand, yellow minute markers, the Brazilian flag on the case-side element. The model has Ayrton Senna’s signature in green on a matt black dial and a yellow bezel lug. Its split-seconds chronograph movement features a new complication, which enables the calculation of one-eight of a second.
