The Mumbai-headquartered Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council of India (GJEPC) will announce the export performance of the Indian Gem & Jewellery industry at a specially convened press conference at Vicenza, Italy at the Sala Fogazzaro at 3.00 PM on Sunday, 13 January 2008, the inaugural date for the Vicenza Gold & Jewellery Fair. It will be addressed by Sanjay Kothari, the Council’s Chairman and will also discuss the burgeoning business opportunities at GJEPC’s newest and first-time venture, IIJS Signature 2008 to be held in the picturesque, coastal Western Indian State of Goa from 29 February to 3 March 2008.

IIJS Signature 2008 is the immediate fallout of the successful India International Jewellery (IIJS) series and is intended to unite big international buyers with 250 carefully-sieved, renowned Indian gem & jewellery exporters and provide the platform to promote trade opportunities on a one-on-one basis.
