Premium Swiss watch brand Omega returned as title sponsor, for the third consecutive time, for the 2009 Edition of the long-running Dubai Desert Classic Challenge, recently held at the Emirates Golf Club. This year marks the 20th Edition of the prestigious Pro-Am Golf Tournament.
Ms. Nayla Hayek, Member of the Executive Board, the Swatch Group and the visiting Omega’s Vice President for International Sales, Raynald Aeschlimann entertained regional partners, business associates, special invitees and members of the media at the Omega VIP Chalet at the venue. “Omega is thrilled to be involved as ‘Title Sponsor’ for the Dubai Desert Classic Challenge because the increasingly popular game of golf closely enshrines the prestige, values and the target audience of the brand and our association also helps to raise our brand profile in the prestigious sports arena in the region,” remarked Mr. Aeschlimann, speaking to MPParabia in an exclusive interview at the chalet.
