The iconic House of Cartier raced towards the world of collectible vintage automobiles when it unfurled its inaugural ‘Travel with Style’ Concours d’Elegance in India’s commercial city of Mumbai, commemorating the country’s automobile heritage. The event was hosted by Bernard Fornas, CEO, Cartier International and Patrick Normand, Managing Director, Cartier Middle East & South Asia.

A select group of automobile aficionados & private collectors, many members of Indian royalty, with 60 immaculately maintained vintage cars was present at the ceremonies held at the Royal Western India Turf Club in Mumbai and attended by international and Bollywood celebrities and socialites that included superstar Shah Rukh Khan, actors Jackie Shroff, Salman Khan, Yuvraj Singh; actresses Manisha Lamba, Deepika Padukone and former Pakistani cricket captain and politician Imran Khan. Cartier guests were exclusively treated to the mystical opulence and elegance with a private viewing of the ‘Travel & Style’ Exhibition celebrating the automotive design and coach building of India’s belle époque.

Master of Ceremonies Alain de Cadenat announced the final winners, which were judged by HRH Prince Michael of Kent, Imran Khan, Sir Michael Kadoorie-a Hong Kong business tycoon, supermodel Yasmin Le Bon and other elite judges.
