First UAE National selected as judge for the Rolex Awards for Enterprise

Dr. Tayeb A. Kamali became the first UAE national to be selected as one of the ten leading international figures in science, the environment and exploration to judge the recently launched prestigious Rolex Awards for Enterprise: Young Laureates Programme. For nearly two decades, Dr. Kamali, in his capacity as the Vice Chancellor of the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) in Dubai, UAE has been in the vanguard of education, training and applied technology programmes in the UAE & the Middle East, encouraging and inspiring young UAE nationals to pursue their dreams. The Rolex Awards have been instituted to honour men and women between the ages of 18 and 30 with inventive ideas to solve future challenges in science & health, applied technology, exploration, the environment and cultural preservation.
