Jewels worth $ 16m stolen from Saudi princess’ room in Italy

Burglars recently made off with jewels and cash worth USD $ 15.6 million from the hotel room of a Saudi princess in Sardinia, Italy, according to press reports. The thieves used a master key and in ten minutes at dinner time, without making any noise, they managed to remove the safe from a suite occupied by the unnamed Saudi princess, the Italian daily La Stampa reported. Investigations are currently in progress.
