Bvlgari celebrates Emirati Women’s Day with a campaign honoring the strength, wisdom and legacy of Emirati women across generations. In line with this year’s theme, “Together, We Rise Stronger and Better,” the Maison partnered with cultural visionary and Cinema Akil founder Butheina Kazim to create the short film The Girl I Needed. Written and directed by Taqwa Bint Ali, the film follows Mariam, a young Emirati woman, from childhood to adulthood, exploring identity, belonging and self-acceptance. Produced with Studio HARAKA, the intimate story celebrates quiet resilience, ancestral wisdom and the enduring influence of Emirati women in shaping society and future generations.
