Seiko Corp celebrated its 140th anniversary with multiple commemorative timepieces

In 2020, Grand Seiko celebrated the 60th anniversary of its foundation. This year, the entire Seiko Corp, founded in 1881 by Kintaro Hattori, celebrated its 140th anniversary in a style and with further emphasis and commitment to promoting the Japanese Watch culture globally. During the two days online summit held last week, Seiko revealed multiple commemorative watches in celebration of the brand’s founder. Among these novelties to be available in the Middle East markets are: A new Series of Grand Seiko GMT watches (4 references: Shunbun-SBGJ251, Shosho-SBGJ249, Kanro-SBGE271 and – Toji – SBGE269) designed to celebrate the ever-changing season. This is in addition to Grand Seiko Heritage Collection with a new Spring Drive Chronograph; Grand Seiko masterpiece collection with Spring Drive 8 Day Jewelry Watch with platinum case and Grand Seiko Heritage Collection – 140th anniversary limited edition.
