The “Mesure du Temps 1787” collection marks a new era for Chronométrie Ferdinand Berthoud, inspired by the legacy of its master watchmaker. Building on the architectural direction introduced in 2025, it presents a completely reimagined mechanical construction. The collection highlights an openworked design that reveals the intricate choreography of its kinematics directly on the dial side. Chapter 1 introduces the Chronomètre FB 2TV, featuring a movement evolved from the 2015 Calibre FB-T.FC. This redesigned mechanism incorporates a constant-force system with a fusee-and-chain and tourbillon, now enhanced with two additional complications for greater technical sophistication.
