Preparations full throttle for IIJS 2009 in Mumbai

Anticipation and excitement is building up in the run up to the 26th Edition of the India International Jewellery Show (IIJS 2009), which will be held in Mumbai from 6 to 10 August 2009. IIJS 2009 is the countrys premier, largest and most prestigious jewellery trade show, which will witness the participation of the nations 1500 top jewellery retailers. Additionally, there will be a large number of trade buyer delegations from the Middle East, Russia and the CIS countries, China, Vietnam, the Far East and eastern European countries. The Gems & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) of India, sponsors and organizers of IIJS 2009, is anticipating a record breaking attendance of over 30,000 trade members. A major highlight of the show is the introduction, for the first time, of the Indian Diamond & Colourstone Show (IDCS), a two day extravaganza that will take place on 4 and 5 August 2009, on the two days preceding IIJS 2009.
