The Dubai Gold & Jewellery Group (DGJG), which ran the ‘Glittering Surprises’ campaign offering the 65-day Dubai Summer Surprise (DSS) shoppers fabulous chances to win gold and jewellery vouchers has reported that the total sales during this period peaked USD $ 137.0 million, according to Tawhid Abdullah, Managing Director, DGJG. The sales were driven by a strong expatriate demand ahead and during the summer vacation period, holiday shopping bonanzas and relatively lower prices of gold.
