IIJS Signature 2009, held at the Kala (Art) Academy in the capital of the Western State of Goa, a name synonymous with quality, design and craftsmanship, was conceived by the Gems & Jewellery Export Promotion Council of India (GJEPC) to promote ‘Brand India’. The second in the series of selectively elite, by-invitation-only exhibition was held from 20 to 23 February 2009.
IIJS Signature 2009 was inaugurated by Goa Chief Minister Digamber Kamat in the presence of Vasant Mehta, Chairman, and other senior GJEPC officials. 72 jewellers representing the top, crème de la crème of the industry in India showcased their brands / product range to over 1,000 visitors including international trade delegations including those from the Middle East.
