The Silver Jubilee edition of the India International Jewellery Show (IIJS) 2008 to be staged in the Mumbai International Exhibition Centre of country’s commercial capital from 7 to 11 August. The ‘Spectrum Seminars’, now an important fixture at the IIJS exhibition series, has signed up over 50 local and international professional experts from prominent trade organizations including Gemfields (Main Sponsor), HRD Antwerp (Co-sponsor), Rio Tinto (Knowledge Partner) to present papers and facilitate discussions on a vast array of trade subjects. Topics to be discussed include branding, sales promotion, luxury retailing, on-line selling worldwide, diamond updates, product selection and stocking, sales planning for growth and ‘professionalizing’ a family business.
