At a recent auction by Antiquorum in New York, Officine Panerai acquired a very important historical watch masterpiece which will further enrich the current collection in the company’s Historical Archive.

The Luminor marina Militare, the only vintage left-handed Marina Militare in existence has a 47 mm stainless steel case. This model stands out particularly for the position of the winding crown which lies in the left-handed position. It was produced in the 1950s for the Italian Navy’s commandos.

The movement is Rolex caliber with 15 ¾ lignes. The dial consists of two superimposed discs. The lower one is coated in a luminous material while the upper one is black with perforated markers and Arabic numerals.
